Dr Steven Mitchell BVSc. 

With more than 30 years experience Steve has been with the Bunyip Veterinary Clinic intermittently since 1988, and there full time since 2004. He is both the owner and head Veterinarian of the practice, and can be found in the clinic most days. His professional interests include small animal orthopedics, dairy cow medicine/surgery, and general surgery. 
When not at work Steve is kept busy with his house full of animals, wife Belinda, and 3 children. 
He also loves to dedicate any spare time to his many hobbies such as hiking, fishing, and woodwork.

Liz Haussegger 

Liz has been a regular face of the clinic for the past 24 years as our most experienced Veterinary Nurse. With her years of experience she has acquired a breadth of valuable knowledge relating to the profession. She can regularly be found at the reception desk helping clients their with queries or in surgery assisting in any procedures, which is where her passion lays. 
When she is not at work Liz loves gardening, playing with her puppies and cockatoo, or spending time with her adorable grandchildren.

Ellyshia Ankers 

With her Certificate 2 in Animal Science Elly has been working part time with us for the past 5 years. She can be regularly found at receptions or helping out with surgery and other procedures down the back. Elly has a strong passion for wildlife, and dedicates a large amount of her personal time to nursing young or injured wildlife back to good health. At home she has a menagerie of her own, with animals ranging from horses to seahorses, all of which keep her hands full.
